1. Student Housing

Student housing is one of the ideal types of student accommodation in Lisbon. It is owned and managed privately and comes with inclusive packed benefits to provide students with a comfortable and safe home. The providers offer rooms to students which can accommodate one or more occupancy. The rooms are all fully furnished with modern amenities. 

Most of the accommodations are at a distance of under 3 miles. While the ones outside of the city center are upto 20 miles.

Landlords own student apartments. They are close to campus buildings designed for the student’s needs. They have an inclusive package of benefits-privacy, independent apartments, and amenities.

University Halls are owned and managed by the university. They are residence buildings within the campus. It is an ideal accommodation for first-year students new to the country. Students can stay within the campus building and get to classes on time. Only students studying at university are allowed to stay in these halls.

Is eating food outside expensive in Lisbon?

The cost of food in Lisbon will depend upon your eating and spending habits. But, the good news is that Lisbon is quite affordable to eat. A meal at a mid-range restaurant will cost…per person while a dinner at a high-end restaurant will cost €25 per meal. If eating out is affordable, imagine how much you can save money cooking meals at home. The average cost of groceries per month will come to about €220.

What is the cost of electricity in Lisbon Portugal?

The cost of your utility bills in Lisbon will depend on many factors, such as location, usage, and housing type. The utility bills will include electricity, water, heating, cooling, etc. On average, your utility bills will come to €120 per month. But, if you choose to stay in student housing or an apartment, it will cover all your bills. As for university halls, you will have to find out about their billing policies. 

How to get around Lisbon Portugal?

Lisbon is a walkable city and easy to explore on foot through the cobbled streets. One of the best and cheapest ways to get around Lisbon is by the metro, which travels around the city. It has a network of 4 lines, and the cost for a single ticket is €1.70. It’s best to buy a student pass and a discounted price for €40.
