(Grade Point Average): <\/strong>GPA definition determines the strength of your candidature and eligibility for financial aid and choice to enroll in your desired institution.\u00a0 The highest US This will typically be a score requirement of\u00a0 3.7\u20133.8 GPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Summa cum laude: <\/strong>It is an academic degree given to the student with the highest honor. This will typically be a score requirement of\u00a0 3.9\u20134.0 GPA.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the degree classifications in the US?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are three types of classification of degrees in the US:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First class honours \u2013 (70% +)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upper Second class honours \u2013 (60% \u2013 70%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third class honours (40% \u2013 50%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, if you score anything less than 40%, you have cleared your degree, but anything above 70% means you have received a high classification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Above all, your GPA is your final grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you score between 90% \u2013 100%, your GPA will be 4.0 and so on and so forth.
