I\u00a0am\u00a0Mahak\u00a0Chopra,\u00a0from India, currently\u00a0studying\u00a0for my\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s\u00a0Degree\u00a0in International Management\u00a0at the\u00a0International School of Management<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in\u00a0Berlin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I chose Berlin because it\u00a0is\u00a0one of\u00a0the\u00a0vibrant\u00a0student cities\u00a0in\u00a0Europe, with\u00a0excellent\u00a0schools,\u00a0a\u00a0global\u00a0atmosphere, and\u00a0many\u00a0opportunities\u00a0for\u00a0development.\u00a0But\u00a0it\u00a0has\u00a0also\u00a0made\u00a0it difficult to find\u00a0student accommodation in Berlin<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Challenge<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finding\u00a0accommodation\u00a0online\u00a0presented\u00a0me\u00a0with\u00a0thousands\u00a0of\u00a0choices\u00a0\u2013\u00a0each\u00a0site\u00a0was\u00a0different,\u00a0each\u00a0property\u00a0was\u00a0unique,\u00a0each\u00a0had\u00a0different pricing\u00a0and\u00a0as\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0sure\u00a0you\u00a0can\u00a0imagine,\u00a0there was no way for me to know if the listing was real or fake.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My concerns were:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1)\u00a0Finding accommodation\u00a0that was\u00a0within my budget.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discovering University Living<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While\u00a0I\u00a0was searching the Internet, I came across University Living\u2019s\u00a0website and\u00a0spent some time\u00a0checking\u00a0out\u00a0their\u00a0platform.\u00a0They\u00a0allow\u00a0you\u00a0to compare\u00a0a variety of\u00a0different student\u00a0apartments\u00a0from\u00a0across\u00a0Berlin based on\u00a0different criteria such as\u00a0location, price, type\u00a0of room\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0amenities\u00a0offered.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0first\u00a0thing\u00a0I noticed\u00a0was that\u00a0all of\u00a0the properties\u00a0listed on University Living\u2019s website have been\u00a0verified\u00a0and\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0much\u00a0more\u00a0simple\u00a0to\u00a0book\u00a0through University Living.\u00a0This\u00a0saved me time and gave me\u00a0much\u00a0more confidence in my\u00a0final\u00a0decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Experience with University Living<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From\u00a0the beginning of the\u00a0booking\u00a0process\u00a0until\u00a0it\u00a0concluded,\u00a0the\u00a0entire\u00a0process of reserving an apartment at\u00a0University Living<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0went very smoothly.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being\u00a0able to\u00a0figure\u00a0out\u00a0the\u00a0best\u00a0option\/price\u00a0for me by looking at properties that fit\u00a0my budget,\u00a0and\u00a0chosen\u00a0location\u00a0was\u00a0very helpful\u00a0in\u00a0making a decision.\u00a0I\u00a0could\u00a0see\u00a0exactly\u00a0how\u00a0my\u00a0apartment\u00a0would\u00a0look\u00a0before\u00a0booking.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0support\u00a0staff were quick to respond to my\u00a0questions\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0booking\u00a0process\u00a0and\u00a0they\u00a0were\u00a0very\u00a0helpful\u00a0in\u00a0explaining\u00a0step\u00a0of the booking process to me.\u00a0The\u00a0support\u00a0provided\u00a0to\u00a0me\u00a0during my entire accommodation search made the move\u00a0to another country\u00a0much\u00a0easier\u00a0and\u00a0less\u00a0stressful.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Student Accommodation in Berlin and Daily Experience<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the moment,\u00a0I\u00a0am\u00a0residing\u00a0in a student-share\u00a0apartment\u00a0Nazarethkirchstra\u00dfe 51<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Berlin\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0have\u00a0enjoyed\u00a0my\u00a0time\u00a0here\u00a0so far.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I appreciate\u00a0having\u00a0my own room,\u00a0but\u00a0I also love being able to use the\u00a0common\u00a0areas\u00a0like the kitchen\u00a0and\u00a0be\u00a0able\u00a0to\u00a0socialize\u00a0and\u00a0mingle\u00a0with\u00a0other students.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u00a0have\u00a0an\u00a0excellent\u00a0connection\u00a0to public\u00a0transport\u00a0which\u00a0makes\u00a0it easy for me to\u00a0commute to ISM Berlin\u00a0every\u00a0day. There are supermarkets, caf\u00e9s,\u00a0pharmacies\u00a0and\u00a0other\u00a0essential\u00a0shops\u00a0in\u00a0close\u00a0distance. It\u00a0makes\u00a0my\u00a0life easier\u00a0on a daily basis.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also took advantage\u00a0of the\u00a0Money\u00a0Transfer<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0service\u00a0through\u00a0ULInfinity<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0which\u00a0helped\u00a0me\u00a0with\u00a0my\u00a0logistics.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
