If you are looking for one of the oldest and major Berlin sights to see tourist attractions, then head straight to the Protestant Berlin Cathedral. On the banks of Spree River, it was initially built as a Parish church in 1465. The insides of the Church are jaw-dropping, as the decorative and ornamental designs give the insides a royal look. In Berlin, the dome of the Cathedral is considered a major landmark, as it contains more than 7000 pipes, and is the biggest in Germany. Moreover, the church displays various political and religious moments through a mosaic of tombs.

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

As the name itself suggests, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe is a way to provide respect and remember the victims of the Holocaust. During World War II, there was a mass Nazi genocide of European Jews, killing approximately six million Jews. Even the thought of the memorial brings legit chills within everyone, as it represents a very sad and horrifying incident that took place years ago. The Memorial was built in 2005, and since then, it has become one of the top sights in Berlin that every tourist visits. 

Museum Island

The Museum attracts around three million visitors in a year, making it one of the most visited museums in Germany. Mauerpark
