University of Copenhagen 

The University of Copenhagen is the No.1 university of Denmark. It is the largest higher education institution in the country and comprises of four main campuses: North Campus, City Campus, South Campus, and Frederiksberg Campus. Technical University of Denmark 

Technica University of Denmark, or DTU, was established by the father of electromagnetism, H.C. Ørsted in 1829. His vision was to create a polytechnical institution for natural and technical sciences. DTU’s main campus is in Lyngby, near Copenhagen. The other campuses are in Ballerup, Risø, and Hirtshals. The University offers a wide range of programs in bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees. The popular courses are in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Nanotechnology. DTU emphasizes innovation and collaboration with industry, providing students with practical experience and research opportunities. DTU is ranked #109 in the QS World University Ranking 2025 and is among the top technical universities worldwide. 

Aarhus University 

Aarhus University was established in 1928 and is the second-largest university of Denmark. The University has three campuses: Aarhus, Emdrup, and Herning. Aarhus University offers a wide range of programs across faculties such as Arts, Health, Natural Sciences, and Technical Sciences. Popular courses include Economics, Business Administration, and Engineering.

University of Southern Denmark 

The University of Southern Denmark is a highly regarded Danish institution. Its main campus is in Odense, and regional campuses in Kolding, Esbjerg, Slagelse, Sønderborg, and Copenhagen. Aalborg University (AAU) 

Aalborg University (AAU) is an international public university in Denmark. It has three campuses: Aalborg, Esbjerg, and Copenhagen. AAU has a total enrollment of 20,000 students and is the fifth largest university in Denmark. It offers 76 UG and 112 PG courses. The University comprises of four faculties: 

  • The Technical Faculty of IT and Design
