Cork is a county and the second-largest city in the Republic of Ireland.

It is home to one of the top universities in Ireland, known as the University of Cork.

Most of the accommodations are at a distance of under 3 miles. While the ones outside of the city center are upto 20 miles.

University halls are on campus and offer a wide range of halls to stay. No two rooms are the same, but you will get the basic amenities.

Food

Food is expensive in Cork, but drinks are a lot cheaper. So, you have the advantage of going out to pubs and bars to enjoy cheap drinks. As for food, a meal in an expensive place will cost you €15, while coffee will cost €3.

If you choose to stay in student housing (PBSA) or a private apartment, then your utility bills are covered. While university halls differ, it’s best to ask before moving in!

Transportation
