Edgbaston/Selly Oak/ Bournbrook
These three are the most popular student areas in the city for University of Birmingham students. These areas can be called a true ‘student hub’. Additionally, from Selly Oak station you can reach the city centre in just a few minutes. Another good thing is that the University is only a stroll away for the students living in these areas. Bournbrook is also quite popular with students because it is just a stone’s throw from the Bristol Road which has several pubs, supermarkets, coffee shops and places to eat.

The rent of accommodations in this area can be a bit on the higher side due to the prime location and the amenities on offer. However, the comfort of living in the heart of the city could persuade you!
