The private institution started in 1839 and it is still one of the universities in Boston. It is quite a big deal for Boston University to be a few ranks below the two top universities in the world.

Tufts University

Northeastern University

By 1922, they got university status, and today they study and work on global issues. It’s one of the few universities with a main campus in the city centre. For those of you seeking nursing courses, this university ranks top 20 for nursing colleges in the US and 2nd in the city of Massachusetts. The overall acceptance rate for the institution is low at 18% for admission. 

Boston College

This medium-sized private institution was started by the Jesuits in 1863 to educate the Catholic Irish immigrants. The college was established to educate the students so they can be of service to make a difference in the world. 

Most students seek to study liberal arts in Boston college as it’s one of the most popular programs in the college. The college is also famous for other programs like business, management and sciences. 

Brandeis University

University of Massachusetts, Boston

It is a public research institution that’s popular among international students for its quality teaching, education and inclusiveness among the different student communities on the campus. Most of the students are attracted to study at UMass Boston for its extensive programs that are top class and affordable to pay. 

 Suffolk University, Boston
