Ireland vs USA have been long-standing competitors, though they are miles apart from each other. The United States is one of the best study-abroad destinations in the world, and there’s no doubt about it!   • Receipt of I-901 SEVIS  
  • I-20 form 
  • School documents and test scores are cited on your university application. 
  • Bank statements or other proof of finances 

The student visa requirements for Ireland are as follows: 

  • Letter of acceptance from the university 
  • Proof of study fee payment  
  • Financial proof 
  • Study permit. 
  • Proof of educational qualifications 

Job opportunities in US vs Ireland 

The USA is a country that allows students to remain in the country after completing post-graduate studies. During this time,  you can apply for a temporary employment visa for one year. Then apply for an OPT visa; you can get this only after proving to be in employment for nine months. If you plan on a full-time job in the US, you will have to get a work visa. 

If you wish to continue and work in Ireland after postgraduate, you can apply for Visa Stamp 2 which can be extended for two years after completion of the course to find employment. And, later, you can apply for a green card.
