    Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) is one of Scotland’s largest universities with more than 20,000 students from 100 countries studying across its main campus. The university also has campuses in London (houses the British School of Fashion) and New York (Glasgow Caledonian New York College is a partner college situated in the SoHo district), along with partner universities in Oman, Bangladesh, India, and Africa. The university became the first in the entire country to achieve EcoCampus Platinum certification for its impactful environmental practices. According to global rankings, the university also ranked first in Scotland for student work experience opportunities. 

    On-campus Facilities
    GCU offers one of the best learning environments to students in the country, with the hub of the campus being occupied by Sir Alex Ferguson Library, which houses over 250,000 books and 1200 study spaces. During the break, students can head to the refectory which serves healthy lunches. They can even relax or get to work in the café, Real@Caledonian with their classmates. The campus also houses a fitness centre along with a sports club, a hair salon, and spa.

The subway which runs every 5 minutes during peak hours is the easiest way to get in and around the city centre. The city is also easy to explore on foot which gives students plenty of time to take in the breath-taking views.
