What are the different types of rooms?

The major room types are:
Sharing: This is where 2 or more students share a single room, washroom, kitchen, and other communal spaces.
En-suite/Private: This includes a private bedroom and bathroom, while the kitchen and living areas are shared.
Studios: This is a self-contained unit with a bedroom and cooking space along with a private washroom. Two students may book a single studio together, subject to the policies of the accommodation provider.

How do I know my accommodation is safe?

All properties listed by University Living are personally verified by the team or their representatives. Each accommodation has fool-proof safety measures in place, including CCTV, secure door entries, restricted access, and more.

Does the accommodation offer cleaning and laundry services?

Accepted Answer

Most properties will have an on-site laundry room. However, students are expected to keep their rooms clean. At most properties, the communal areas are looked after by maintenance staff at regular intervals.

Students are expected to bring their own kitchen utensils, bedding, and bathroom essentials. If that’s too much, our value-added service partners will deliver all these and more to your accommodation in the UK even before you move in!

What if I don’t like my accommodation after moving in?

Accepted Answer

We try our best to find you an accommodation that ticks all boxes. But if you still don’t like your accommodation, we will try to replace your room for a nominal one-time fee.
