One of the most important things after confirming your enrollment at a particular university is to look for a place to stay. Some of the students get on-campus accommodation but for that, you have to apply as early as possible as these accommodations are limited in number and get filled quite quickly. It is important to get a place near your university campus as it will help you save both time and money on your daily commute. Also, if you start looking for accommodation early then you can get various accommodations at a very reasonable price because the closer the intake comes the higher the rent becomes.
There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, pubs, and clubs within walking distance from the student accommodations you’re staying at. This is a huge bonus for students as they can enjoy their evenings with friends after a gruelling study session. You can visit Rowntree Park which is an excellent place for a picnic by the river. For enjoying open mic nights you can visit the Ruby Tuesdays open mic night at Sotano and Vinnie's Open Mic Nights.
