All the accommodations offered by the university are located in the centre of Edinburgh with good transport links to the campuses. There are more than 1,500 rooms available in the form of en-suites and studios. But as the number of students has been increasing each year, there is a huge demand for private accommodation in and around the city of Edinburgh.
These private accommodations are known as purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and are located either within walking or cycling distance from the campuses. All the rooms of these housings are well-furnished as they are specifically designed to accommodate both domestic and international students. For example, iQ Fountain Bridge is a fully-furnished student accommodation near Edinburgh Napier University, located just 15-minutes away from it.
PBSAs come with a wide range of room types such as en-suite rooms, student studios, one and two-bedroom apartments offering shared living spaces, and more. The studios are self-contained rooms for those who need some extra privacy and if you’re a little on your student budget then you can opt for en-suite rooms. Both these rooms are fully furnished with comfortable beds, study space, and lots of storage spaces. The properties also offer a plethora of onsite amenities like a living room with TV, fully-fitted kitchen, games room, laundry, broadband and Wi-Fi access, study pods, outdoor courtyard, and more.
Most of these student homes (PBSAs) are located in the heart of the city offering a good connectivity by public transport like buses, trains, and trams. These properties are well-placed, just a short distance away for bus stations and tram stops, so travelling around the city will never be an issue. Train stations are also located near to some properties which makes it quite convenient to travel beyond the boundaries of Edinburgh.
