The early origins of the London College of Fashion exist in three trade schools, all of which were for women: the Shoreditch Technical Institute Girls School which was founded in 1906; the Barrett Street Trade School which was founded in 1915; and the Clapham Trade School which was founded in 1927. The main campus is located just north of Oxford Circus, on John Prince’s Street whereas other campuses are located at 40 Lime Grove in Shepherd's Bush as well as in East London at 100 Curtain Road (Old Street).
