The United Kingdom is known to be the best study destination in the world. Many students are applying to universities every year. If you want to study in the UK in cities like London, Sheffield, etc you must choose programmes between three intakes: autumn, winter, and summer.

You will need a lot of preparation. First, with applications, deadlines, visas, flights, etc. 

To understand each intake better, let’s get into details:

All About September Intake: Autumn Intake

It is the primary intake. It is for all the universities in the UK. During this intake, universities are open to all types of courses. The application process for all the universities begins within 8–16 months. The deadlines vary among universities. Please check with the university for detailed information on their websites.

You can apply for both programs.

All About January Intake: Winter Intake 

This is the second intake. It is open only to a few universities. There are a limited number of courses available. The application process for all the universities starts in June. It ends in September. The deadlines vary among universities. Please check with the university for detailed information on deadlines.

Some of the programmes offered during this intake are:

Management, technology, banking, engineering, designing, etc.

All About May Intake: Summer Intake

This is the extra intake offered by a few universities in the UK. During this intake, there are a limited number of student applications. There are more vacancies. So, more chances for you to get into universities. But the course is very limited. The application process for all the universities begins in October. It ends in January. The deadlines vary among universities. Please check with the university for detailed information on deadlines.

Some of the programmes offered during this intake are:

Management, banking, technology, engineering, designing, etc.

Admission Journey

Step 1: List the universities of your interest. Start to gather information on their applications and deadlines.

Step 2: Depending upon your selected course or programmes, you will be required to take a standardised test (TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, or IELTS, etc.).

Step 3: Collect all the required documents. Then apply.

Step 4: Choose the university you wish to attend and revert to them.

Step 5: Start applying for funds and scholarships for your education.

Step 6: After receiving an offer letter from your desired university. You should start now by applying for a UK student visa. 

Step 7: Book your tickets and get ready for your journey to study in the UK.
